“The heart of the watermelon” is a musical project crystallized in its final form after several years of searches. Focused on the text of Stanislav Stratiev, as the beginning of the idea, the authors unexpectedly seeks and finds “Bulgarian” like “cross culture” form. They lining up folk songs, texts, proverbs neo-folk themes composed by Nikolai Ivanov colored by jazz, gospel, ethnic influences, electro sounds, percussions and loops.
